APS Vision: Graduate every student with the choice to attend college without remediation.

Mission Statement: Ensure that all preschool students will transition into kindergarten with the experiences and skills necessary to reach high levels of learning throughout their academic career. The ECE department will provide support to the APS vista 2010 mission: "Teach every student the knowledge, skills and values necessary to enter college or a career and become a contributing member of society who flourishes in a diverse, dynamic world." The opportunites for early learning provide a strong foundation that will help to ensure academic success.

 *Current preschool students advancing to kindergarten in August 2010, do not need to re-register at the Centralized Admissions.  Information regarding kindergarten enrollment will be sent via US Mail in April 2010.

School Hours: M - F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Colorado Preschool Program: classrooms are in session Tuesday - Friday. Hours vary per class. No school on Mondays. Classroom teachers are using the Creative Curriculum Developmental Continuum for Ages 3-5. Preschool Sessions are 2 hours, 45 minutes a day (4 days per week). If your child is going to be absent or late, please call our office at 303-363-0484.

• 8:45 am - 11:30 am           or          9:30 am - 12:15 pm
• 12:30 pm - 3:15 pm          or          1:15 pm - 4:00 pm
