The Colorado Preschool Program is a program funded by the Colorado Department of Education. This program is designed for three and four-year old children with a variety of at-risk factors. Screening is held annually in order to identify those children eligible for this program. The number of children serviced through this program is determined by the allocation of program funds by the Colorado Department of Education. Preschool Screening Procedures for 2010-2011 School Year:

Screening procedures for the Colorado Preschool Program and Tuition Based Preschool, are a 3-step process; Screening, Registration and Enrollment. Note: The Colorado Preschool Program and Tuition Based Preschool  have limited availability. Participation in this 3-step process does not guarantee placement. Children must be 3 0r 4 years old 0n or before Oct. 1, 2010 to be eligible for the Fall preschool program.

Please be sure to bring with you the following information in order to be screened:

*Child's Birth Certificate
*Immunization Record
*Proof of Residency: current and complete (Xcel, Water, Cable or Lease Contract)
*Photo ID of Legal Guardian
or

If you own your home: Warranty Deed, current property tax bill, or current Xcel Energy bill
If you rent: a current signed lease
IF you live with another family: a notorized letter from the owner of the home stating you live with them, the lenght that you will be living  there and their signed lease if they rent or their Xcel bill if they own their home.

*Children are not required to attend the above screenings with legal parent or guardian

*Current preschool students advancing to kindergarten in August 2010, do not need to re-register at the Centralized Admissions.  Information regarding kindergarten enrollment will be sent via US Mail in April 2010.
