Parent/Teacher Conferences

This is a day when parents and families meet one-on-one with the teacher and discuss the growth and development of their child in all four areas of development. During this time, the teachers and parents set individual goals for their child.

CDC Spring Book Fair

Please join us at our book fair! Every book purchased, helps us earn free books towards our classrooms. Help us meet our goal!

CDC Parent Coffee

 Parents are invited to attend a monthly meeting with the family liaison to discuss a variety of topics and offer resources for families. Flyers will be sent home in the students friday folders with specific times and presentation topics.

Parent Days

The Family/Child Hour Program is an opportunity for parents to come to school and join their child in learning activities related to literacy, math and social development. 

The guidelines to participate in the Family/Child Hour Program are:

  1.  Adult family members (over 18 years old) are invited to participate in the program
  2. Parents are welcome to bring the other children to the Family/Child Hour.  However, since childcare is not provided, children will need to remain with parents during the Family/Child Hour

The following classrooms have Parent Day on Sept. 24, Oct. 8, Dec. 10, Jan. 14, Feb. 18, Apr. 15 and May 12 for the 2010 - 2011 school year.

C-42                                a.m. 8:45 to 9:45                                         p.m. 12:30 to 1:30

C-34                                a.m. 9:30 to 10:30                                     p.m. 1:15 to 2:15

C-39                               a.m. 11:15 to 12:15                                     p.m. 3:00 to 4:00

C-37                               a.m. 11:15 to 12:15                                     p.m. 3:00 to 4:00
